Boo!...

Hello everyone.

I hope it's a happy Monday for you!

I am sneaking in on the last day of the month with a Halloween card made with gorgeous products from wonderful
Our lovely and clever Deb (Amped2Stamp) at
has designed a range of dies to perfectly fit DL cards!

These new
are such fun!  The card making possibilities are endless!

To make my halloween card I first cut a piece of black glitter card with the fab

I then blended Distress Oxides in Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon and Seedless Preserves over a piece of smooth card and splattered it with water and Perfect Pearls.

I then hand cut a piece of that card to fit behind the apertures in the Marquee die cut.

I used the
to cut the word BOO with blended card.

I created a cobweb mask with a die stuck it to a piece of smooth card and blended Distress Oxides in the same colours over it.  I removed the mask to reveal the cobweb pattern and trimmed it to also fit behind the die aperture.  With black ink I stamped spiders onto the cobweb.  The spiders are from the fabulous

I tore the blended card into strips and fixed them to a piece of black glitter card. I left a gap in the strips to let the black card show through and fixed some small google eyes on it!
I trimmed that panel to fit behind the aperture in the die.

I created a rectangular card blank the same size as the
and stuck the three panels to it, fixing the black glittery die cut over them as shown.  I fixed the letters to the centre panel with

With black ink I stamped the cat from the
onto a piece of Bockingford card and coloured him/her (: with pencils.
I cute image out and fixed it to the card design with
as shown.
Spooky or what!!!

Fa La La Llama...

Hello friends!

While I'm on a bit of a roll with my card making catching up I thought it was time to make a start on stuff for 'you know what'!  (;

I decided a good place to begin was with these cuties by Krista -Heij-Barber for

You can say 'aaaahhhh'
(aren't they just the cutest and the fluffiest)!

I die cut three pieces of Kraft Card with a

I stamped these gorgeous images onto the tags and coloured them with Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils.

I used Mod Podge to add
Glamour Dust to the yellow bows and furry hat.  (Such a shame the pics don't quite pick that detail up)!

I stamped sentiments from the
onto Kraft card and cut them out into little rectangles and fixed them to the tags as shown.

I die cut three more tags and embossed them with folders.

Finally I punched a hole in the tags with a red brag and fixed the image and the embossed card together with twine!

Yay- merry 'you know what'!!! (;

I heart you...

Hello everyone,

Oh my word - the weather !!!

It is bucketing it down here and we had very bad thunder storms last night!

On the positive side though, it's a very good day to be inside crafting!

Today's card now lives safely with it's birthday recipient and I can share it with you!

I have used one of the many beautiful images by
Stamping Bella

I so enjoyed making this card!

The image is stamped in black ink on Bockingford card and coloured with Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils.

I used the matching Snapshots Polaroid Die to coat the frame for the image and placed it on some patterned paper with an organza ribbon bow.

The sentiment is from the

Ingredients from Dies To Die For

Pastels? - I don't think so! ...

Hello everyone!

I hope this week is being kind to you!

Today's card is made one of the amazing
stamp sets

The sentiment appeals to my inner chimp and just makes me giggle!

I made this card by blending Distress Oxides in
Seedless Preserves
over a piece of smooth card.

I then flicked water and black gesso over the card and let it dry.

I cut a piece of black glitter card with the new
and also die cut the inky card.

I stamped the bats and spider onto the inky apertures and added a hand doodled cobweb.

I stamped Morticia onto white card and coloured her with Copics - E04, E21, E00, E000.

I fussy cut her and added some texture and sparkle to her frock with Copic Glitter pens and a white gel pen.

I put the card together by placing the inky apertures into the black frame as shown.

I fixed the card design to a card blank cut by using the outside of the arch window die as a template.

I stamped the sentiment (snigger)! from the stamp set onto a piece of vellum which I attached to the top of the large aperture.

Finally I fixed Morticia to the card design as shown!
Attitude or what!!! (:

Fishing Dragons...

Hello friends!

Happy September!

I LOVE autumn, it is my favourite season by a country mile!

I'm back from summer hols - which were brilliant!  We were so lucky with the weather.  I'm now trying to catch up with my colouring card making!

Ask me on 1st October how that went! /-:

I'm here today with a gorgeous new release stamp set from

I had so much fun colouring this super cute dragon!

I am practicing colouring my own backgrounds - it's a bit scary to be honest but it's learning curve and I'm determined to get better!

To make this card I stamped the
and die cut it with a stitched rectangle die.

I first coloured the background with Copics, and then moved on to the cute dragon!  (His scales are done with the nib of a colourless blender held on its side! - Thank you to our lovely Crissy Armstrong for the inspiration) <3

Sky - BG0000, BG000, BG01, C00, C01 (Thank you Amy Young for the clouds inspiration)
Ground - E33, E31, E30, E50
Grass - G20, G21, G24, G85, W7
Dragon - YG00, YG03, G07, G29, Y04, Y08, Y18, Y26, Colourless Blender
Jacket - R39, R35, R32

I stamped a sentiment from the
onto a torn strip of vellum and wrapped it around the bottom of the design.  (It's secured at the back with sticky tape)

I die cut a piece of gorgeous design paper from the
tied a piece if twine around it in a bow and layered the image onto the paper.
