U is for Under the Pile...

Happy Wednesday lovely friends...

74 days until Christmas!
I so didn't need to know that and I bet you didn't either!

We have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
U is for Under The Pile

The challenge is to create a Christmas project with something you have been squirrelling away in your stash for more than a year!

Gulp!  We can all do this though because we are amongst friends!

Our sponsor this time is the wonderful
who have offered a selection of their gorgeous digi stamps for the lucky winner.
I wish I could say it was difficult to find something to use but it wasn't!
I decided to use the smallest die from one of my favourite sets - I chose this because I use the larger dies a lot and very often the smallest dies are overlooked completely!

So here for its first ever outing is the the smallest Die namics Stitched Rectangle Frame Die

I have used the cutest Bugaboo Images
and sat them on a little shaker box which could be a pressies or a naughty step!

Special Friends...

Good Morning lovely friends...

Oh dear!  This week is rushing by sooooo quickly, which in some ways is a good thing because I have a mega exciting weekend to look forward to!

My son's gorgeous girlfriend is 21 so it's party time!

plus - I am off on a crafty outing with my best crafting buddies on Sunday!
Phew!  Starting to wish I was the one who was 21 - I could do with a 21 year old's energy!

Anyways, we have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
Flower Power

It will be lovely to see as many of your gorgeous mainly pink flowery creations as possible!

Our generous sponsor this time is
with a wonderful 7 digi's for the lucky winner!
For my card I have used the gorgeous Bugaboo digi stamp - Mouse - Big Flower.

I have been playing with the Distress Inks again!  I love the delicate effect you can achieve.
I have made a little stepper - type card using papers from Bo Bunny and finished off with a twirl of twine and a sentiment from Paper Smooches.

...and here we are - little mouse - big flower!...

B is for Bauble...

Hello again everyone.

A new challenge starts today at
and it is
B for Bauble
(remember this is a Christmas Challenge and we love to see your festive creations)!

This challenge is sponsored by
and the prize for the lucky winner is

7 Bugaboo digi's of their choice.

To make my Bauble inspired card I chose the gorgeous Bugaboo digi
Ava Christmas - Mistletoe Fairy

I coloured her with Copics and added some glamour dust to her wings.

Just a little side story...
When I went to the NEC in November I treated myself to a Cameo Portrait.  I duly unpacked it and I have looked at it in awe and wonder (and fear) ever since!  (I am hopeless with anything with a plug, my boys have to operate the DVD for me)!

This weekend I decided to read the instructions (ha! - who am I kidding, I looked on U Tube and went to Silhouette School - which is a fabulous by the way)!

With the help of some online instruction, I learned how to print and cut - so lovely Ava was my first attempt and I am really happy with how she came out.

I also cut the bauble shape out with the Cameo - new favourite gadget this week!

so...here we are, with enormous thanks to modern technology -
Ava Christmas - Mistletoe Fairy
