I see no ships...

Good morning lovely friends
Happy Sunday

Well, I'm not getting too excited and I don't want to tempt fate but we have some lovely weather here!  Just perfect for sailing (-;
We have a super Facebook challenge at Lili of the Valley
 and it is to use a delightful sketch by our very talented 
All the details of the challenge included the wonderful prizes can be found

It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible at this super fun challenge and to hopefully inspire you to join in I have used the gorgeous Lili of the Valley stamp - 

I have coloured this little chap with Copics on Kraft (Swoonerooney - I love colouring on Kraft)!

I have used papers from Carta Bella's 'Ahoy There' collection (another fave - someone pass the smelling salts)! to follow Jen's sketch.

Finally I have added some Baker's twine (tied in a reef knot) and some enamel dots.

and here we are... cute ain't he... (and just perfect with Father's day being only round the corner)...

teenage kicks...

Good Morning lovely friends

Today's card is a reminder to you all that there is still plenty of time to enter the April Colour Challenge at Lili of the Valley.

Basically, you can make a card using any of the following colours
Aqua, Pink, Red, Ivory, Lilac.

The first letters of each of these spell APRIL!
Clever and simples!

You have until 6pm UK time on Friday 15th March to join in the fun and there are some fantabulous LOTV goodies for the winners.

For my card I have used the fab new LOTV stamp 

I have coloured him with Copics and set him on a background made with papers from Bo Bunny's Liberty Collection.  The top layer has been Die cut with a Sizzix Mixed Media Die.

Finally I have added a new LOTV sentiment from the Block Sentiments Set 102 along with some enamel dots.

and here we are...teenage kicks - loved that song along with millions of other John Peel fans - (showing my age now)!

Are you feeling Springy?

Good afternoon lovely friends,
lovely weather here to day, so after the excitement (not)! of nearly flooding at home on Tuesday, perhaps spring is finally on the way.

Today's card is a gentle reminder to you all that there is still time to enter the Spring Challenge Event at Lili of the Valley.

For my card I have used the sweet re released stamp

 I have coloured these cuties in Copics and used scalloped circle dies to create the layers for my card base.  The papers are from First Edition.  Finally I added some flowers, ribbon and a sentiment from Lili of the Valley's Sentiment Tag Set 24

...and here we are, I don't know what he asked but I would say yes!...xxx

News Flash! Candy and other schtuff...xxx

Good evening lovely friends...

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb!
Well, we certainly have had a lion here today, terrible storm...a perfick day to stay in and be crafty!

No card here today just some news and an announcement of the winner of my blog candy!

So, the news headlines for today are...

Lovely Lili of the Valley are holding a Spring Challenge over on their Facebook page, 
so find your "springiest" LOTV image and to take part just join the 
and upload the photo of your card or project. 

The event starts today Tuesday 1st March and you have until 6pm UK time on Sunday 13th March to add your card.

 5 winners will be picked at random and oh my - there are some wonderful prizes!
