Babies From Above - Whimsy Stamps

Hello friends,

The weekend is here and in the UK the weather is lovely and spring like!

Today's card is a cute offering made with some 

Whimsy Stamps

products released earlier this month.

Babies From Above Clear Stamps 

It's Raining 6x9 Stencil

I created the inky background with Salvaged Patina and Speckled Egg Distress Oxides and then applied texture paste through the stencil.  I created two sheets of the background to use later for the letters and the frame.

I used the

Shaker Maker Combo Die Set

to create the frame.

The clouds are die cut from vellum using the 

Up In The Clouds Die Set

I coloured the babies with Copic Markers and fussy cut them. (List of colours at the end of this post)

The letters are cut from some left over inky card using the 

Bold ABC Die Set

The sentiment is stamped in blacking and cut out by hand.

Finally I added a few dots of gorgeous

Whimsy Stamps New Release is HOT! - Mini Slim Notched Hot Foil Plates

 Hello everyone,

I hope you have nice weekend plans!

I am off to a craft fair to catch up with my besties Tracy and Faye!

Today's card though is equally as exciting!

Wonderful Whimsy Stamps has released a beautiful hot foil plate!

Mini Slim Notched Hot Foil Plates

with matching dies,

Mini Slim Notched Die Set

I created this card by blending distress ink over the opposing corners of a piece of card.

I stamped the beautiful flowers from the 

Sympathy So Deeply Sorry Clear Stamps Set

on top of the ink and coloured the flowers with Copics.

I added some white paint to the flowers tips to lift them a bit.

I used the smallest mini slim foil plate with silver hot foil to create the background for the sentiment.

The sentiment is from the 

Sympathy Life Goes On Clear Stamps Set.

I finished the card by adding some white and silver dots around the flowers with gel pen.

Jungle Frames Die Set - Whimsy Stamps

 Hello everyone.

I'm here today to show you a card I made with a beautiful new die set from

Whimsy Stamps

Jungle Frames Die Set

I created the background with Distress Oxides and the fab 

Giraffe Stencil

I used the same Distess Oxide colours to make the frame and leaves - I blended the inks over a piece of card and then die cut the frame.  (Colours and link to inky background tutorial at the end of this post).

I stamped and coloured the beautiful 

Giraffe Momma and Baby Rubber Cling Stamp 

with Copics and then fussy cut the image and added it to the card design.

I finished the design by stamping a sentiment from the 

Simple Sentiment Strips Clear Stamps

and adding some dots from the gorgeous
