Bundle Girl with a Winter Branch for Emily our ForeverBella...

 Friday hugs everyone!

Today's card is a special one.

I have made it with all the love and care I can muster for
Emily at Stamping Bella who so sadly died tragically young a few weeks ago.

Emily was so full of life and character and her contribution to our crafty world can not be underestimated.

She was the life force behind the incredible Stamping Bella images that we adore and her love and enthusiasm was infectious.

Emily has left a wonderful creative legacy and sistah hood that will endure as a tribute to her, always.

Thanks Em,
and as she would always say... MWAH ...xxx

Unicorn Kisses - Whimsy Stamps

 Happy Monday everyone!

(There is such a thing - honestly)! (:

1st of March eh? - Normally I'd be wondering why the year is going so quickly but this year, given the state of things, I don't mind that at all! /-:

Today we have a fabulous mini release at

I have played with three gorgeous new release items
I stamped that gorgeous unicorn in grey ink and coloured her with Copic markers and pencils. (I'll pop the colours at the end of this post for you).  I then cut her out.  (Fussy cutting - uugghh) (:

I die cut a piece of white sparkle card with the slimline clouds die and layered it onto one of the papers from the glorious skies pack.

I fixed the unicorn to the design as shown with foam tape.

I die cut the largest cloud from the up in the clouds die set and stamped the sentiment from the Unicorn Kisses Stamp Set on to it in grey ink.

I fixed the cloud to the card design above the unicorn as shown.

Up, up and away...

Morning friends,

I've a reminder for you today that the fabulous Holiday Sale at
Purple Onion Designs
is on for a couple more days, so there's still time to go shopping for the gorgeous stamps you've been promising yourself!
Today I have a card to show you that is a break from all the seasonal madness!
This card is made with the beautiful Stacey Yacula Studio Stamps -
Up and Away
A Beautiful Day Sentiment Set

I stamped this lovely image onto Bockingford Watercolour card and then masked it so I could blend Distress Oxides over the background.
(Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick, Shaded Lilac and Cracked Pistachio)

The design has been die cut into a rectangle.

The background is made with Distress Oxides in Shaded Lilac, Worn Lipstick, Scattered Straw splattered with water and Perfect Pearls.

I have coloured the image with Derwent Lightfast Pencils.

The sentiment is stamped in black Stazon Ink onto vellum which I've wrapped around the image.  The design has then been layered onto design paper and finished off with some sequins and enamel dots.
I hope you like this a much as I do!  I loved making this card.

Christmas Wishes...

Hello everyone!

Happy Fri-yay!

Today I'm sharing a card I've made with a gorgeous set of stamps by Christine at
Paper Nest Dolls

North Pole Collection
(This is a great set of seven stamps)
I used Powerpoint to assemble these cute digi images which I printed onto Kraft card and coloured with Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils.  I added the dots with a white gel pen.

I trimmed the design into an 11cm square and mounted it on a Kraft card background.

I used Whimsy Stamps
Everyday Scripted Sentiments clear stamps
to stamp the sentiment.

Such fun!
Thank you for popping by!

Purple Onion Designs Holiday Sale...

I am so happy and proud to have been asked by lovely Michele from
to Guest Design for her
Annual Holiday Sale

This is so exciting for me as I absolutely adore these gorgeous designs!

I had a lovely time deciding which of my stamps to use and really enjoyed creating some cards so be sure to look out for them over the next two weeks while the sale is on!

This card is created with a selection of stamps designed for Michele by Stacey Yacula.

I have used them to create a little scene.

Here some photos to hopefully help explain how I stamped and masked everything.

Before I started the serious business of stamping and masking I did a practice piece on a piece of card where I did nt bother masking, I just stamped everything where I wanted it to be using acetate to line things up.  I then made marks on my stamp platform with tape to make sure I stamped the sleigh and the stable in the same place on my working design.

The first image I stamped was the
I masked the portion of the card where the little dog
would sit and stamped him over the top.
I then placed a piece of acetate over the top of the card and stamped the
onto it.
Then I placed the other stamps on the stamped barn in the position I wanted them to be on my design.  I have used ...
This was made so much easier by using the brilliant
I stamped everything onto the acetate to check its position before I stamped it on to the design.
When I was happy with how the design looked I removed the acetate and then stamped and masked all the gorgeous images.
Then I put the acetate back over the design and lined up the
with the purple tape marks made earlier.  I stamped the barn onto the acetate to check everything was still properly in place.  (Thank goodness for acetate)!
Then I removed the acetate and stamped the Barn Door Background onto the design.
Next came my favourite part - removing the masking tape and colouring the whole scene.

I simply can't tell you how much I enjoyed creating and colouring this scene!
It really is straightforward if you take it slowly and use acetate to check the position of everything before stamping it on your design!
