Special Friends...

Good Morning lovely friends...

Oh dear!  This week is rushing by sooooo quickly, which in some ways is a good thing because I have a mega exciting weekend to look forward to!

My son's gorgeous girlfriend is 21 so it's party time!

plus - I am off on a crafty outing with my best crafting buddies on Sunday!
Phew!  Starting to wish I was the one who was 21 - I could do with a 21 year old's energy!

Anyways, we have a new challenge starting today at

I have been playing with the Distress Inks again!  I love the delicate effect you can achieve.
I have made a little stepper - type card using papers from Bo Bunny and finished off with a twirl of twine and a sentiment from Paper Smooches.

Good morning everyone - Happy Wednesday

T is for Two

Oh my - we are certainly ripping through the Christmas alphabet now - and the less said about that in September the better!

Our sponsors this week are

with a generous $10 voucher for the lucky winner

T is for two then!  What a fab theme, there are so many options with that!

I eventually went for an image that had two cute skating bunnies, two different papers and two strands of twine!

This gorgeous image is from The Stacey Yacula Studio at Purple Onion Designs.  For a change I coloured them with Distress Markers.  I absolutely love the effect of distress inks but I think more practice is required!

The Santa Express...

Good morning everyone,

Well, so much for yesterday being a heatwave and the best September day in the history of the world!
it wasn't either of those here!  Wall to wall thunder and lightening and really muggy!

Anyways, seems like a perfect day to think about Christmas cards!
We have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
Sew What - Real or Faux!
so (sew)! - we want to see your gorgeous Christmas cards with some real or pretend stitching on them.

Our generous sponsor this time is
Freckled Fawn
with a fab $15 voucher for the lucky winner.

I have a bit of a thing for stitched dies so I decided to make a card with faux stitching using an MFT die.

I used two images from gorgeous Little Miss Muffet Stamps - (I was lucky enough to win a recent challenge at LMMS and I had no difficulty using my generous gift voucher)!
I coloured these images with Copics, cut them out with a stitched rectangle die and made a trifold card.  The centre panel is made with Grunge Christmas Postmarks sentiments from Lili of the Valley

...and here we are...too cute - I loved it when my boys were little 'uns!

Much love...

Morning all!

Oh dear - what has happened to the sunshine?
It is very bleak here today so the only thing to do is stay in the dry and craft!
Today's card is made with goodies from Dies to Die For
Embellishments - Taylored Expressions Sequins - Summer Nights

I stamped the image with white pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I painted the flowers with Kuretake Color Clean Brush pens.
(Used for the first time- eeeeek)!

I then masked the heart and flicked some paint about - oh yep - that went everywhere! /-:

I added a simple sentiment and some sequins and finished off by matting the image on a piece of blue card.

...and here we are...much love on a wet Monday morning...xxx
