Malarkey Word Die Set - Whimsy Stamps

 Hello friends,

I'm back today to show you a card made with a super new die set from

Whimsy Stamps

Malarkey Word Die Set

I made the slimline card base using the 

Slimline Card Builder Die

and used watercolours to create the inky background.

I then die cut in gold card the

Twinkle Scribble Die

and the 

Bold ABC Die Set

and fixed them to the card design as shown.

Finally I die cut the shamrocks from the 

Malarkey Word Die Set

from a piece of inky green card I had saved from a previous project!  

I decorated the circle and the background with the die cut shamrocks as shown

Elegant Butterfly - Whimsy Stamps

 Morning everyone,

It's the 1st of July which means its a 

Whimsy Stamps

new release day!

I have made a different style of card using a beautiful new stamp

Elegant Butterfly Rubber Cling Stamp

This card was such fun to make.

I splashed some water about on a piece of watercolour card with some Lindy's Stamp Gang Magic Powders and then cut the card down to a 12cm x 12cm square. 

I stamped the butterfly partially over the inky card using Black Stazon Ink.  (This is the best ink I have found for stamping on watercolours, it does nt bleed or blur at all)

I sprinkled the card with Stampendous Chunky White Frantage and heat embossed it from below to set it.

I added a selection of Sparkletz and enamel dots.  (That was the best part)! 

I added the live laugh love sentiment from the 

Simple Sentiment Strips Clear Stamps 

which I die cut it with the 

Simple Sentiment Strips Die Set

Finally I layered the design onto a piece of black sparkly card.

Whimsy Stamps - Mermaid Escape and Wonky Windows

Happy Friday friends,

I hope you've had a good week this week!  The weather in the Gloucestershire has been awful which is a mixed blessing because at least it makes for plenty of crafty time! (:

I have made a Mer-May card using a fabulous new release die from 

Whimsy Stamps

Wonky Window 4 Die

and mixing it up with an older goodie - 

Mermaid Escape Clear Stamps 

I made a shaker card which is something I haven't done for aaaages! - the Wonky Window dies are perfect for Shaker cards!

I created two inky background with Lindy's Stamp Gang Magic Powders

I then die cut one inky piece and used the other for the card background.

I stamped the gorgeous mermaid directly onto the background and coloured her with Copics.  (You can colour Copics over watercolour but if you are uncertain please do your own swatch test first)!

I then created the shaker part of the card using heavy weight acetate, Sparkletz and Sprinkletz.

I stamped the sentiment from the Mermaid Escape Stamp Set onto one of the panels I saved when I die cut the wonky window and then placed the panel back in the aperture.

Finally I added some Starry Sky Sparkletz.

Whimsy Stamps Build A Castle Die Set - or - Mother Of Dragons!

 Hello friends and Happy Tuesday!

April is true to form and like every other month recently is rushing away - or perhaps I'm just old and time is speeding up...  o-:

Today with have a super new release of wonderful

Whimsy Stamps Goodies!

I could hardly stop myself crafting with them and over the next few days have three cards to show you!

The first, made with the 

Build A Castle Die Set

is my own favourite...

(I was thinking Game of Thrones thoughts when I made this one! (:

This was great fun to make and very straightforward.

I used some fabulous Lindy's Stamp Gang Magic Powders to create the background and die cut the inky card with the Slimline Card Builder Die.

I then die cut the Build A Castle Die in black card and created the silhouette as shown by trimming the pieces down to fit along the bottom of the card.  I love this die - I mean who could resist the windows and teeny tiny flags - not to mention those a-ma-zing dragons!

Once I had lined up the design I fixed it in place and stamped that perfect sentiment from the 

Magical Birthday Wishes Sentiment Set.

Finally I layered the design onto a piece of black sparkle card.

Whimsy Stamps - Butterflies and Stained Glass Scripture for Easter

 Hello everyone.

I hope this week is being kind to you.

I had such fun making an inky mess last week that have been playing with texture paste and sparkle again!

I have made a set of scripture themed cards - it meant a lot to me to make these, I'm probably not alone in saying that faith has been on somewhat shaky ground recently!

To create the backgrounds I used Magical Powders by Lindy's Stamp Gang.  I have only just discovered these little pots of gorgeousness but oh my word, if you like getting inky they are game changers!

I combined the backgrounds with some beautiful Whimsy Stamps products and have to say I did feel happy with the final designs!
