Love is in the air...

Good morning lovely friends,

We have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
'Love is in the air'



This is such a super prize bundle for the lucky winner.

Firstly though I need to tell you all that this is my last DT card for 

It has been a difficult decision to step down from this wonderful and talented DT.

Shirley and Veronica are extremely kind and supportive - I have loved my time here working with Veronica's gorgeous images.  I wish all the ladies the very best of luck for everything they do in the future.

Anyways - on to today's card or I shall be blubbing!
I have used the beautiful digital stamp - The Bride from The Paper Shelter.

I coloured her with Copics and set her on a piece of card decorated with hearts using a stencil and Distress Crayons and a sentiment.

I closed my eyes and doodled around the edge of the card(!)

Finally I added a piece of design paper from 

...and here we are, The Bride, don't you just love the expression on her face...

Let's hear it for the boys...

Good morning lovely friends.

We have a new challenge starting to day at 
and it is 
'For The Boys'

Wow, what's not to like about this as a prize bundle!
For my card I have used the super cute digi 
World Champion from The Paper Shelter

I coloured this little chap with Copics and created a background with a Tim Holtz Stencil and a Distress Crayon.  (I tried to give the impression of a football net)!

I used some digital papers from the now sadly closed Pink Petticoat and added some twine and a button.

...and here we are - 'championis' (if only - sigh)!

A beautiful day...

Good Morning everyone


We have a new challenge starting today at

Spring Delights

For my DT card I have used the cutest Paper Shelter digi -

For my card I used the beautiful digital stamp -Tulips.

I have coloured her with Copics and set her on an embossed background.  I have added a die cut frame and a little pathway with some papers from First Edition.  Finally I added a sentiment with Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers.

...and here we are...beautiful spring tulips...not necessarily from Amsterdam...

Catch a falling star...

Good morning lovely friends - hands up if you are now singing that song!


We have a new challenge starting today at

Not exactly a big bad wolf...

Good morning everyone.

We have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
Animal Magic

For my DT card I have used the cutest Paper Shelter digi -

I coloured this gorgeous image with Copics and set it on a background made with Copic Refills on glossy photo card.  

I made a simple layout by matting the image on coloured cardstock and added a strip of wash tape and a sentiment.

...and here we are, whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend never owned a dog! (or a wolf)!...

A girl's best friend...

Good morning lovely friends.


Today, a new challenge starts HERE at The Paper Shelter
and it is 

Be My Valentine
Wow, what's not to like about this as a prize bundle!

For my DT card I have used the cutest Paper Shelter digi - 
Best Friends
I coloured this lovely image with Copics and used papers from Santoro and Crafter's Companion to create the heart layers.

I embossed a piece of linen card with hearts to make the background.

I added some sentiments I made on the computer which I cut out with a clouds die and finally, a touch of red twine.

...and here we are, I think we can guess what this lady's best friends are!...

Winter Fun

Good Morning everyone...

I am so pleased to say I have been asked to join the super talented DT at

I am really chuffed about this - I absolutely love The Paper Shelter's gorgeous digi's.
Today, a new challenge starts HERE at The Paper Shelter
and it is 
Winter Sports
Wow, what's not to like about this as a prize bundle!

For my first DT card I have used the cutest Paper Shelter digi - 
Candy Ski
It took me three days to make this card!  two and half of them were spent looking for the candy cane design paper I have used!  I knew it would be perfect for this lovely image and do you think I could lay my hands on it!

I did eventually, it was in the last placed I looked!

Anyway, I cut this cutie out with my Silhouette Portrait, coloured him with Copics and mounted him on a little stepper card with a wonderful Christmas background created from various die cuts.

For the snow I used a new 'thing' I bought before Christmas - Frantage Shaved Ice, and a painted the candy canes and candy wheels with Glossy Accents.

...and here we are, he is so cute and I definitely think he is going to win the downhill race!...

I have coloured this beautiful image with Copics and mounted her on a simple card with layers of gold mirror card and Wild Rose papers.

I have added some gold embroidery silk and some gold shimmer domes as a final flourish.

...and here we are...a gorgeous Christmas lady - only wish I looked so composed at this point!
