V is for Vertical...

Good Morning everyone,
I am in a whirl - the weeks are going by so quickly!

There are now only 60 days until Christmas!  (that's good to know isn't it)! ( :

We have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
V is for Vertical

Our fabulous sponsor this time is
Krista Heij Barber

Vertical started out as a bit of a 'tall order' for me ( :

Then, I remembered I had decorated some gorgeous tall candles with some freebie papers I had stashed away ages ago - the reason I love these is that the colours are all so un- Christmasssy but somehow it works!

...and here we are!  Shine bright lovely friends...

A reindeer's for life not just for Christmas!

Good Morning everyone
Happy Monday!

Today I have a super cute little chap to show you that I have been itching to colour for ages!

I don't know if I have ever mentioned that I have a little (big)! soft spot for reindeer.
I have wanted to try no lines colouring for a while but I have, in all honesty, totally lacked the confidence to go for it!

I have to say, had it not been for my lovely friend Faye I probably would never have attempted this!

I did my Copic Certification with Faye and learned such a lot from her.
If any of you are interested in learning more about Copic Colouring I know Faye would love to hear from you - plus, we have a fabulous Dies To Die For event on 29th and 30th October where Faye will be running some workshops.
All the details can be found HERE

Anyways, back to no lines colouring - I love it!  It is a bit strange at first but after a while your eyes sort of get used to the pale outline.  It did take longer than normal but I was being mega careful not to muss it up!

Say hello to Rudolph, who is very kindly giving you all a wave.

Autumn Flowers!

Good Morning friends,

Oh my, it is nippy here today - heating on for the first time this year!
Autumn has officially arrived in our house.

We have a lovely new challenge for you today at
and it is
Ribbons and/or bows for Breast Cancer Awareness

The sponsor this time is
with a $12 voucher for the lucky winner.
My card is something a bit different for me.  I had a lovely time making it as it was a birthday card for a special friend of mine.

I have used a combination of dies and flowers along with the most gorgeous Pion papers.

I found a perfect piece of velvet ribbon in my trinket box which fortunately matched perfectly ('cos I'm not good with ribbon)!

...here we are, something a bit elegant for a friend and for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Ingredients
Little B Tag Dies
Spellbinders Nestabilities Floral Ovals Die Set
Leaf Punch by Woodware
Flowers from The Ribbon Girl
Velvet Ribbon from my trinket box

U is for Under the Pile...

Happy Wednesday lovely friends...

74 days until Christmas!
I so didn't need to know that and I bet you didn't either!

We have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
U is for Under The Pile

The challenge is to create a Christmas project with something you have been squirrelling away in your stash for more than a year!

Gulp!  We can all do this though because we are amongst friends!

Our sponsor this time is the wonderful
who have offered a selection of their gorgeous digi stamps for the lucky winner.
I wish I could say it was difficult to find something to use but it wasn't!
I decided to use the smallest die from one of my favourite sets - I chose this because I use the larger dies a lot and very often the smallest dies are overlooked completely!

So here for its first ever outing is the the smallest Die namics Stitched Rectangle Frame Die

I have used the cutest Bugaboo Images
and sat them on a little shaker box which could be a pressies or a naughty step!
