BFF...

Happy Thursday everyone!

Today I am here to show you the last card from the set of three I made for Making Cards magazine in May!

I absolutely loved making these cards,
The Curvy Girl Stamps by Stamping Bella are absolutely beautiful!

Here's how to make this card!

1.With a 13.5cm circle die create a card blank with the fold at the top, remembering to place the top of the die over the fold so you end up with a card fold and a circular card.  With the same die cut a circle of design paper and stick it to the card blank.

2.Create a 12.5cm circle of card suitable for Distress Ink Blending.  Blend Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide in the centre of the card blending it outwards, fading it out towards the edges of the card.  Flick water over the design and allow to dry. Mix some Perfect Pearls powder with a little water and flick that over the design too.  Allow to dry.  Fix the card design to the card blank set aside earlier.

3.Stamp the Curvy Girl image on to alcohol marker card with black ink and cut it out with the matching die.  Colour with alcohol markers as shown, adding Wink of Stella to the flowers and Diamond Stickles to the folds of the skirts.  Fix the coloured image to the card design, slightly right of centre as shown.

4.With Archival Ink stamp the sentiment to the left of the image as shown.

There's gnome one like you!...

Hello everyone,

Hope you are having a happy Monday!  (I think there is such a thing)! (:

I'm here to day with some gorgeous gnomes -
because you can never have too many right!?
I enjoyed colouring these cuties so much that I made two cards with them - if time permitted, I could have made a hundred and two!
I simply die cut some Kraft card with a
and stamped the gorgeous
with black ink.

I then coloured them with an assortment of Caran d'Ache Luminance and Polychromos pencils.

I stamped a sentiment from the
Gnomies stamp set and also used a sentiment from the

I mounted the images on Kraft card decorated with an embossing folder and added some twine tied with a bow at the front.

Finally I added some enamel dots.

Caregiver Hugs...

Hello everyone,

It's a special Whimsy Stamps release day to day and there are some beautiful cards with a special theme!

Cancer is vile and in some way it touches the lives of us all.

Our lovely Deb Davis (amped2stamp) has created some amazing stamp sets which help us all to realise that no one is alone in being a cancer sufferer, a caregiver or a friend of a cancer sufferer.

Making this card and contributing to this release seems such a small thing...
These gorgeous bears from the
have been stamped in black ink and coloured with Copics
E79, E77, E74, E71, T5

Using a die cut cloud from the
I have created a template and used it to create some clouds with
Spun Sugar Distress Oxide

I have used the
to die cut the image and the design paper.

The sentiment from the
Caregiver Hugs Clear Stamp Set
has been stamped in black ink, die cut and fixed to the card design as shown.

I have finished my design by adding some
and organza ribbon tied at the front with a bow.

Several others from the team are also sharing some great cards using these sets so be sure to check them out.
