Love Is The Sweetest Thing...

Good Morning...

The new Challenge at
is
FAF or CAS (Fancy and Fussy or Clean and Simple)
and of course, the card must have more pink than any other colour.
This challenge is sponsored by
and the prize for the lucky winner is a $6 voucher for their online store.

Well, I must admit, I did n't need any help deciding to choose FAF as my card style, particularly as I had just the right stamp in mind.

Today's card is made with a gorgeous Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Stamp - 'Brett and Brenda Get Married'.  I have been eyeing this stamp up for ages and eventually my will power succumbed!  I am pretty certain I am not the only one who that happens to ... occasionally...!

I coloured these two lovebirds with Copics and then distressed the edge of the image with Tea Dye Distress Ink.  I embellished Brenda's dress with Stickles and her hair and flowers with Liquid PearIs.

I used Kraft card and papers from Trimit's 'The Rose Garden' Collection to create layers and mats, all die cut with Spellbinders Grand Die Set - Labels.  I distressed the edges of the Kraft card a little.

I used cheesecloth, hessian ribbon, natural twine and flowers from The Ribbon Girl to decorate the card along with gems, buttons, pink twine and charms from my trinket box.

Finally I added sentiment tags from Lili of the Valley and a die cut church by Marianne Creatables.

So, here we are, an adorable couple who are a perfect picture of sweet love...
