Anything is Possible with Sparkle and a Little Pink...

Good Morning...

Today's blog post is my first as Guest Designer for lovely Christine and the Pink Ladies over at In The Pink.

I am so happy and honoured to be asked to be a guest there for a couple of weeks, it is such a lovely and welcoming place with gorgeous challenges and home to everything pink.  I am from a house of men so I have to take every opportunity I can to embrace my inner pink!
This week's challenge at In The Pink is 'Make it Sparkle'.

This challenge is sponsored by The Ribbon Girl, and the lucky winner will win a £10 voucher to spend in their gorgeous on line store.
As soon as I found out that the challenge involved pink and sparkle I knew straightaway that my card would feature the lovely Stamping Bella Uptown Girl 'Posh' (Posh has Presents).

I coloured her with copics and layered and matted her up with some pearlescent Bazzill cardstock and some papers from a 12 x 12 paper pad I have had for eons called The Rose Garden by Trimcraft (from Hobbycraft I think).

I used a touch of cheesecloth and distressed the card edges to soften everything up a little.

I really enjoyed myself adding some sparkle!

I used a Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Pen on the edges of Posh's frock, on the present bag and parcels.  I added some sparkles to her hair with silver Liquid Pearls and finally I ran amok with shimmer domes, gems and sequins. (I tried really hard to get the camera to capture all the sparkle, if you click on the photo, I think you can get a glimpse of it).

I completed the card with some pink twine and a button along with a handbag charm and a 'party sentiment tag.

Such Fun!
Here we are then, Uptown Girl - Posh - born to party and to sparkle...
