Bundle Girl Winter Friends - Stamping Bella

 Hello friends!

This is the last card from me this year - I'm so sorry to not really have made very many!

It has been a fairly mad, bad and sad year every way up!

I did consider that it may be a bit lightweight to keep blogging throughout the awfulness of it all this year but I decided that as it keeps me happy and sane, it might just be doing the same for you!

Twelve months ago I never expected that the world and the UK would be in such a state!

Neither did I expect that a simple slip whilst on a summer walk along the cliff side in Dorset would cause such damage to my leg!  It has been a horrible ordeal to break bones!  The only thing I've ever broken in my life is the speed limit and an occasional nail!  However, it is small fry given what so many others have to contend with!  I have surgery scheduled in January to remove the metalwork in my leg and then all should be good to go!

I am genuinely moved and quite bowled over by the love and support of so many of you - thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I think this beautiful image and sentiment says it all!...
Bazzill Basics Kraft Card
Archival Ink Pad in Shadow Grey

Snowy Trees - Whimsy Stamps

 Hello everyone...

I am such a bad example!... (:

I leave everything until the last minute and am probably the only person still madly making Christmas cards!

I am so thankful that wonderful
has so many lovely products!

I cobbled together a set of cards using the beautiful

These were so easy to make! (...and did I mention quick)!!!

I swooshed some water colour card through some ink spritzed with water.  (I used Sparkle Pens but you could easily use which ever you have to have to hand.

I then cut a small rectangular piece of hammered white card and die cut the smallest tree in the centre of the rectangle.  ( I eyeballed the sizes and did nt write them down!  If you wanted to, you could cut the tree out first and then cut the rectangular shape to a size you are happy with)!

I cut the inky card 5ml wider than the die cut tree pieces and fixed them together as shown with foam tape.

The sentiments are stamped on in grey ink.

Thank you for popping by!
Happy crafting!

Whimsy Stamps Pine Bough Background and other goodies!...

 Happy Sunday friends!

Whilst I am writing this post it is absolutely chucking it down with rain and still dark!  - So not very festive at all to be honest!

Hopefully I can change that feeling with today's card with is something a bit different from me but I did enjoy putting it together.

I used some gorgeous goodies from Whimsy Stamps
(UK friends you can find all of these goodies at Dies To Die For)

To make the delicate looking stamped background I painted directly onto the
with brush markers.  (I used Arteza but any would be fine, you could even use straightforward watercolours and apply them with a brush.

I used a selection of browns and greens and just dabbed them on the star roughly where I wanted the colour to be.

I then very lightly sprayed the stamp with water and stamped direct onto watercolour card.  I dried it with a heat tool (because I'm impatient, you can let it dry naturally)!

Next I sprinkled on some chunky embossing enamel and heat set it from underneath.

I assembled the rest of the card with goodies from Whimsy Stamps as shown.

Whimsy Stamps - Gnome(s) For Christmas ...

 Hello everyone!

I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend!

Oh.My.Word - you know how sometimes you make a card ... and you just get ridiculously over excited...well here is THAT card!

(Thank you Hazel France for such a fabulous photo)!

I made this card with two amazing stamp sets from
and one of the fabulous Whimsy Stamps innovations,

I have put together a little tutorial to show you how I masked and stamped this Gnomie panorama...

I die cut a piece of Kraft card with the Card Builder Die and stamped the first gnomes right in the centre.
...then I stamped and created a mask with my favourite masking paper (Judikins Eclipse) and put it over the top of the original stamped gnomes.  (The best way to create the mask is to cut very carefully just into the black outline so that you can line up you images without any gaps)
I then placed a piece of clear acetate over the card and stamped my second gnome onto it.  I do this as it helps to see what the design will look like and I can make sure the images are lined up how I like them!
...I repeated this with the third gnome...
I then masked the second and third gnomes...
...and stamped the final two images onto acetate again to line them up.
I stamped the two final gnomies and then peeled off the masking paper - the reveal is my favourite part!  This is how the gnomie scene looked - and I have to confess I was pretty happy!

I settled down to do some colouring with my Prismacolor pencils, lashings of tea and the odd chocolate biscuit! - such FUN!
...it was worth every colourful minute!

Thank you so much for popping by!
Take care of yourselves and happy creating!
(Thank you Elaine Marker Geek for the colour combo inspiration)
