Whimsy Stamps Virtual Retreat - Crazy Cats Tutorial

Hello everyone!
This weekend is such fun!

As we are n't able to hold our Whimsy Stamps Retreat because of the awful Pandemic we are having a virtual retreat instead where members of the Whimsy Creative Team will be sharing video and PDF tutorials and you can join in by sharing your own creations.

There will also be some freebie Whimsy Stamps digi's which will only be available for the duration of the weekend.

There is a Facebook group
where you can join in the fun!

White Card Suitable for Alcohol Markers
Smooth Card Suitable for Distress Ink Blending
14.5cm Circle Die
Distress Ink Pad in Tumbled Glass
Black Ink Pad
Copic Markers – YR24, YR21, YR20, E93, E40, T3
Two Coins

1.With white card and a 14.5cm circle die create a card blank and set it aside.  (Remember to put the fold of the card inside the circle die so you end up with a folded card and not two circles)!  Cut an additional 14.5cm circle and set that aside too.

2. With the largest Pierced and Stitched Circle Die create a white card circle.   Using a template cut with a Grass and Cloud Edger Die blend Distress ink clouds over the card starting at the top and working down.

3. Place the 3.5" circle die on the card front and place the 2.75" circle die in the centre of it. Secure them with a piece of low tack Purple Tape.
4.Cut out using a die cutting machine.

5. Stamp the Crazy Cat with black ink and colour with your preferred medium (or paper piece if you prefer). Cut the cat out.
 6. Stamp the sentiment in the centre of the small cloudy circle
7.With foam tape fix the outer part of the cloudy background to the 14.5cm circular piece of card set aside earlier.  Leave enough room around the circle for a coin to move freely around it.  Place a coin under the outer circle.
8. Again, apply foam tape to the back of the smaller circle, making sure not to go too close to the edges.   Fix the circle in the centre of the design over the coin.
9.Fix a small square of foam tape to the top of the coin and then fix another coin on top.

10.Fix a square of Scor-Tape to the top of the coin and then fix the cut out cat to it.  The crazy cat will now move and spin around in a circle.
11.Fix the card design to the card blank set aside earlier.
Thank you for popping by!
