I have something a bit different to show you today.
This card is one of a set I made with some lovely
goodies
last year for Making Cards Magazine.
I stamped a gorgeous background stamp, heat embossed it and then painted it with distress inks; then that done, I die cut the painted panel to create the owl design.

Seedless Preserves, Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire Distress
Markers by Tim Holtz
Water brush
Frayed Burlap Distress ink pad
Onyx Black Versafine ink pad
Gold Pearlescent Card
White Hammer Card
