Happy Monday lovely friends
Lovely news from the mouse house today!
It's a big thank you from me to Tracy, Lou, Faye and Jane for inviting me along!
Soooo....today's card is my first DTDF DT post; I am feeling more than a teensy bit excited!
I was inspired by the very talented Kristina Werner in making this card - there is a brilliant tutorial HERE for the painting technique I used.
I decided to try something a little different and coloured (tried to colour)! with Distress Markers. I absolutely love the effect you get with Distress Inks and am full of admiration for you wonderful DI Artists. I have some practice to do but am determined not to give up!

What a sweet and lovely card. You will love it as part of the DtDf team, I still miss my time with them, they are such a lovely bunch and Tracy is a wonderful 'boss'. So glad to see you giving DIs a whirl, the brighter colours are the ones that tend to be a little harder to blend so you've certainly jumped in at the deep end. You did a wonderful job though and as with all things, as you practice it just starts to come more naturally :) xx
Congratulations and what a cute first card
You've created a fabulous card here Sue... I'm loving that you're into DI's too... I'm still struggling with them and generally revert to my Copics! LOL! Loving these cute bunnies of course too!
Big hugs
Christine x

I'm glad you got to play with your new stamps and your first go with the Distress Markers looks fab, especially with the gorgeous inky background as well :-) You are so brave trying these inky techniques and you make them look brilliant...I would be an inky mess...and probably crying in the corner!
Big hugs, Kat xx
