Water Lily

Good Morning...

Today's card is my DT inspiration for The Sugar Bowl.
The new challenge at
is Anything Goes (with a Sugar Nellie Image).

The prize for the lucky winner is four Sugar Nellie Digital Images, and there is a second prize winner of two Sugar Nellie Digital Images from

I have used the gorgeous Sugar Nellie digi,

I have coloured her with Copics.
This is my first colouring project since I spent a wonderful day with
Faye Wynn-Jones at her European Copic Class.
Faye (stampinfluffnstuff) is a very talented colourist and a wonderful teacher,
if you ever get chance to take part in one of Faye's classes you definitely should go for it!

I used some purple card from my stash which I embossed and die cut along with  gorgeous paper from a collection by Craftwork Cards - Tea Dance (very lucky me as that was a pressie from a lovely crafty friend).

Here we are - beautiful Water Lily...

Oh you lucky thing going on a colouring day with Faye, she is super talented and I'd love to meet her...she's one of my colouring heroines!

Your colouring of this sweet mermaid is top notch too, I love the texture on her tail and hair :-) The pretty aqua and purple colour combo and the bubble die cut create a wonderful watery feel and the design is lovely :-)

Big hugs, Kat xx

She is absolutely gorgeous Sue.... you really have captured the beauty of the mermaid and the underwater scene.. the embossed background gives the impression of bubbles and so does the diecut.. and then your liquid pearls! All goes together so well - and THEN... you shade around it with the lilac.... perfection!!

Big hugs
