Today's the Day!

Good Morning...

Launch Day is here!...

Today lovely Lili of the Valley are launching their wonderful new range of 
Christmas stamps -  gorgeous Christmas Trios.  

These little sweeties are lovely to colour and can be used for soooo many 
Christmas projects.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas....

Good Morning...
Today's card is my second 'sneak peak' of one of lovely Lili of the Valley's new 
Christmas stamp sets - Santa Trio, which is being released on Monday 31st August.

There are five sets of festive trios being released and I can't pick between them - they are all so cute and an absolute delight to colour.

I have coloured these gorgeous Santa's with Copics and used some papers from 
LOTV's 'Twas The Night collection.

I thought the little circles looked 'bauble-like' so I drew a little thread in to hold them up!

Water Lily

Good Morning...

Today's card is my DT inspiration for The Sugar Bowl.
The new challenge at 
is Anything Goes (with a Sugar Nellie Image). 


The prize for the lucky winner is four Sugar Nellie Digital Images, and there is a second prize winner of two Sugar Nellie Digital Images from 

I have used the gorgeous Sugar Nellie digi,

I have coloured her with Copics. 
This is my first colouring project since I spent a wonderful day with 
Faye Wynn-Jones at her European Copic Class.  
Faye (stampinfluffnstuff) is a very talented colourist and a wonderful teacher, 
if you ever get chance to take part in one of Faye's classes you definitely should go for it!

I used some purple card from my stash which I embossed and die cut along with  gorgeous paper from a collection by Craftwork Cards - Tea Dance (very lucky me as that was a pressie from a lovely crafty friend).

A Santa Selfie

Good Morning...

Wow... where did the summer go!  
It does n't seem like two minutes sine we had our last challenge at Creative Inspirations, and after our summer break here we back again with our new one!

This week's challenge at Creative Inspirations is anything goes with the option of a sketch, all the details you need can be found

My DT card this week is made with The paper Shelter's gorgeous digi stamp, 

I coloured this fab image with Copics and used some Stickles to add some snowy glitter.  
I did try a new technique to colur Rudolph but LOTS more practice is needed -  i think he is a bit spotty!

 To make my card I used some papers I've had a while from a 
Forever Friends Kraft Notes designstax.

I die cut some stars and added them at different depths to try and create a 3D effect.

Close Your Eyes By Lili of the Valley

Good Morning

Today's card is my second August Design Collective card for lovely
Lili of the Valley
I came over all romantic for this card and decided to use the gorgeous LOTV rubber stamp
Close Your Eyes

I coloured this adorable twosome with Copics and sprinkled some fran-tage around the edge of the image.

I used papers from 
Lili of the Valley's Winter Wishes Collection which I stamped with 
Lili of the Valley's Grunge Corners.

I added a sentiment using Lili of the Valley's Greetings Postmarks Set 18.

I added some flowers from The Ribbon Girl - I decorated the blue rose with 
Frantage Shaved Ice.  

Finally, I added some blue seam binding and a wooden heart button.

...and here we are, such a cute image, I don't know what question he is asking but I would definitely say yes...

One Day I'll Fly Away...

Good Morning...
The challenge this time at 
In The Pink
is 'Fly Away' plus the option to feature another colour in addition to pink.

The prize for the lucky winner is a £10 gift voucher from 
Bunny Zoe's Crafts

This card is made with a super cute digi from Make It Crafty - Fiery Dragon.
I have coloured this cutie with Copics and for the first time, completely coloured the background as well!  That was a heart in the mouth moment I can tell you!  Enormous thanks to Elaine Hughes - Marker Geek for the inspiration; I only had the confidence after recently watching a u tube tutorial showing this by Elaine.

I used some papers from Doodlebug Designs Hello Sunshine Collection and added some Bo Bunny Pearls.

Finally the sentiment is from another stamp by Stamping Bella - the prospect of warm wishes from that fiery little dragon just made me chuckle!

My Besties 'same but different'

Good Morning...
Today's card is my DT card for Sherri Baldy's My Besties UK 'Same But Different' day!

This is a super blog post to take a peak at over at My Besties UK because all the DT work with the same Sherri Baldy My Besties image.  It is totally fascinating to see so many wonderful interpretations of the same cute My Bestie!  Also, if you leave a comment over there you may be the lucky winner of this digi!

I have coloured this cutie with Copics and gone for a more CAS card than usual - I thought she was so gorgeous she deserved to be the star of the show!

I die cut some papers from Doodlebug Designs to create simple layers and added a die cut sentiment and  some Doodlebug Sprinkles.

Cute as Apple Pie....

Good Morning...

Well, this is an exciting post... 
...my first as a member of the wonderful My Besties UK Design Team!  I can hardly believe I am typing that!  Thank you so much to Carol and the team for the lovely My Besties welcome...I am still in a state of disbelief that I am going to have the chance to showcase Sherri Baldy's gorgeous images...
Today's post is a special My Besties celebration, an apple blossom party to mark the launch of a gorgeous new range of Sherri's Apple Blossom Papers and Pocket Letters.

To make my card I have used the My Besties paper pack and digi 'Apple Blossom'.

I coloured this adorable image with Copics and used the Apple Blossom papers to create mats and layers.

I have used some flowers from my crafty stash along with Bakers twine and an apple charm from The Ribbon Girl as embellishments.

Finally, I added some Doodlebug Sprinkles.

When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney...

Good afternoon...

Today's card is a sneak peak of part of a wonderful range of Christmas stamps being launched by lovely Lili of the Valley at the end of August.  (Start saving your pocket money peeps because they are super cute)!
I coloured this gorgeous santa set with Copics.  

I then cut each Santa out and mounted them on a background made with papers from Lili of the Valley's Krafty Christmas collection and an embossed piece of blue card.

I added some postmarks from LOTV's Grunge Christmas Postmarks sentiment set along with some Doodlebug Sprinkles and some Stickles.

Such fun...and there's not a lot else to be done on a very wet afternoon...
so here we are, some super Santa's...(and I can't stop singing 'when Santa got stuck up the chimney'..reminds me of when the boys were tiny tots...all say aaahhh)!!!
