Man's Best Friend...

Good Afternoon...
Today's card is for the lovely Lili of the Valley Design Collective.
My love for all things Lili is no secret and at the moment, well I have to say
there is an awful lot to love!

There is a special offer on some of the newly launched papers, sentiments and art pads;

Look here for all the details!

...and as if that was n't enough to have us Lili fans swooning there is another fabulous offer - a whopping 25% off all Lili Christmas goodies until 25th June!

All the details of that offer can be found here

Today's card is made with the adorable stamp 'Man's Best Friend'
This is just a perfect subject for me given my love of my adorable girls Ruby Roo and Phoebe Mouse.

I coloured this super image with Prismacolor pencils.  To be honest, I had pretty much given up on my pencils.  They were gathering dust on the corner of my table and I had virtually decided to sell them.  I thought though that I should give them one last chance and after a bit of practice, this card is what I came up with.  You can of course all speak freely,   I respond well to feedback, but perhaps I should hang on to them for a while?

I used some papers from the new Lili of the Valley Collections,
Romance and Roses and Dress Shoppe to create layers and the strip of paper across the card is from the Bonnets and Bowties collection.

The background is a piece of Core d'inations card stock embossed with clouds and sanded.

Finally I added a Father's day sentiment from Lili of the Valley's
Greetings Postmarks - Set 18 and some twine and a little star button.

Here we are then 'Man's Best Friend' (and from where I am sitting, 'woman's' as well)!
I would like to enter this card for the following challenges

Yes do hang onto them I love this. Your colouring is great so it would be a shame to not have pencils in your collection of colouring equipment. Gorgeous layout too. Love that cloud embossing in the background.
