Summer Daze...

Good Morning...

I hope you are all enjoying this Bank Holiday Weekend...
Today's card is my Guest Designer card for Elisabeth Bell's World.
I was lucky enough to win Elisabeth's last challenge and part of the prize was to be a Guest DT for the May Challenge.  I am so thrilled to be asked to join in.  How lucky am I?
I used this lovely image by Elisabeth Bell from The Hobby House Art Book - Summer Daze.
I coloured this cute duo with Copics and used a clear Gelly Roll Pen to embellish some parts of the image - fish, flowers and rushes.

I embossed some Core'dinations Card with clouds and flowers and used that along with a piece of my favourite Graphic 45 paper to create some layers.

Finally, I added some pretty flowers from The Hobby House and a button and some twine from The Ribbon Girl.

Here we are, the sweetest pair, enjoying their Summer Daze...
I would like to enter this card for the following challenge -

Such a gorgeous card Sue, perfect papers for this wonderful image. I am a great fan of those art books I bought one last Christmas and was really impressed with the quality of the cardstock, they colour beautifully. xx
