Seeing Stars...

Good Morning...

Today's card is the first of my August Design Collective cards for lovely
I used one of the beautiful new Christmas stamps from the latest LOTV launch -

To colour the image, I had another fiddle with Distress Inks - I'm still not sure about them, (I love the artwork some of you lovely talented ladies create - but I need more practice I think before I am completely happy with the result).

I die cut papers from Lili of the Valley's Woodland Wishes collection to create the cloudy layers.  The white card is embossed with a Die'sire embossing folder.

The layers are all raised slighty on foam tape - I was trying to add some cloudy depth for the stars to peep out from but the camera has n't quite captured the effect.

I added some die cut glittery stars and some sentiments from Lili of the Valley
Christmas Sentiment Tags.  These were stamped and heat embossed in gold.

...and here we are - a Heavenly Angel wishing everyone a Heavenly Christmas.

I love this beautiful card. Gorgeous image, some of my fave papers and that puffy cloud die is a must have. I do admire some people's colouring with DIs but it is never as effective as Copic colouring in my opinion, sticking to my Copics as you can achieve more shading x

This is such a pretty card Sue.... of the course the image is adorable, and I love how you used the puffy cloud die too with the embossed stars! Your colouring looks fabulous to me - (I'm rubbish with DI's so far - but I'll keep on trying)... and then those die cuts stars finish the card off perfectly!

Big hugs

A beautiful design to this card with the puffy cloud die both top and bottom of that gorgeous image. Your DI colouring looks beautiful too, I love the subtleness of it.
