Speaking frankly, I feel like a bit of an indecisive failure because I realised when thinking about this challenge that by far my favourite cards are those that you can send 
'just because'!

So really I guess my favourite occasion is ANY occasion!

I chose to use a gorgeous stamp that has been on my 'to colour' pile for a while, the wonderful Hayley the Hero by Stamping Bella.

I coloured her with Copics and added a bit of bling to her super hero goggles and cape!

I used my favourite papers by Doodlebug Designs to make my card layout and added some sequins and a sentiment I made on the computer with the font, Hanzipen TC.

...here we are then, meet Hayley the Hero...you go girl!

Things I Must Remember Not To Forget...

Good afternoon...

Well, this is fun, today I have made something just because I wanted to!  

How often does that happen? 

hmmm...not very often...! 

Well given the lovely time I have had doing this, it should certainly happen more often!

I have used the super duper digi from Tiddly Inks, A+ Avenger which I have coloured with Copics.

I have mounted the image using some papers from my stash which I have die cut and turned into the cover for a little notebook.

I added a sentiment of my own made on the computer with the font 'noteworthy'.  I also painted on a touch of Diamond Stickles to add some bling to this super hero's dress and goggles.  

Finally I added a touch of ribbon and twine and some coloured paperclips - just to complete that 'back to school' feel.

...and here we are, ready to take on the world, a super hero!

and Why...

I have used my Lawn Fawn Puffy Clouds Dies for this notebook.  (Great value - it's a pack of three).  I have had these dies for about two months and they have become my tip top favourite, most used EVER die!  Thing is, - yes, it looks like puffy clouds but it is also a wonderful way of creating a border and adding lots of scrummy papers.  Turned out to be a very good investment indeed for me given the number dies I have which are only used once or never!

I realised I hardly make any 'new baby' cards these days and thought I should do something about that!

I made my easel card with the gorgeous stamp All Our Dreams from Lili of the Valley

I coloured this sweetie with Copics and used papers from 

LOTV's Winter Wishes Collection.

I used some very ancient buttons from my trinket box. (They are vintage in themselves I think)!

In order to properly vintage things up a bit I distressed the edge of the card and added some twine, cheesecloth and fran-tage.

...and here we are, such a sweet little chap...

Good Morning...

Today's card is my Design Collective card for lovely 

Lili of the Valley

I have used the gorgeous stamp 

In The Lamplight

which I have coloured with Copics.  

I used some multi medium and Glamour Dust to create twinkle and sparkle.

I chose papers from LOTV's 

Sunny Side Up and Heartfelt collections to make some seasonal die cuts.

Finally I added some flowers, lace, rusty bells and twine along with sentiments from 

LOTV's Christmas Sentiment Tags - Set 32

I reckon I am just an old fashioned girl because I am really taken with this 

 adorable image.  (Sssshhhh, don't tell anyone, but I do have a bit of a soft spot for the more traditional Christmas theme).

Confession Time!  I really don't use very much ribbon on my cards.  I like ribbon, and goodness knows I have plenty of it but it never seems to make it onto many of my 

'finished articles'...

Needless to say I had to work extra hard this week on my DT card - lots of thinking time!

I used a gorgeous Stamping Bella Stamp - Petunia Thinks She's A Prezzie. 

This appealed to my inner child because the image itself has ribbons and bows which I thought might slightly let me off the hook with adding too many.

I coloured this wonderful image with Copics and used a selection of pink papers from my stash. 

I added some pink ribbons, also from my stash and a die cut paper bow.

I used a sentiment from a Tiddly Inks stamp set and added some teeny tiny pearls.

...and here we have Petunia, is n't she lovely...

My card this week is made with a gorgeous digi by Saturated Canary - wine o'clock - which very generously came free in a Magazine CD recently.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used papers from Lili of the Valley's Dress Shoppe collection to create layers.

I added some flowers, cheesecloth and ribbon along with some pink dew drops and a sentiment tag from LOTV.
