Good afternoon friends...
I don't usually do this but I am squeezing in an extra blog post today. Reason being - I really want to support lovely Fi Robertson at Handmade Bliss with her first new blog challenge.
So...this card is made with the gorgeous Stamping Bella stamp,
Maisie and Madeleine Have Tea.
I have combined Copic colouring and paper piecing for the tea cup and flower. I have never done that before! (and mutters under breath 'I am not sure I will do it again!!). Friends and followers will be aware that am not a great fan of fussy cutting...I can't even cut in a straight line using a guillotine!
Anyway, I stuck with it and ended up fairly pleased with the result...good old 'Dr U Tube' helped out...!
I used some papers from Maja Designs to create mats and layers and added some hand stitching (oh yes!! time on my hands obviously...well obviously not as I have hardly any time left to add my card to the linky thingy and am frantically trying to type faster)!
Lack of time helped me to decide to keep the card fairly simple so I added a bit of twine and some flowers and left it at that.
So Maisie and Madeleine having tea...which is exactly what I plan to do as soon as I have pressed the publish button!
I would like to enter this card for the following Challenge -
