I am determined to make two a month and as a bonus I have managed three!

I want to say thank you to the designer who inspired me to make these - I saw a similar pic on Pinterest - however, I don't know their name, so if you are out there and see these cards then - thank you!

These cards are made with a selection of goodies from wonderful
These cards were really quick and easy to make!

The snowy background is a combination of first and second generation stamping in red and beige ink.

The sentiments are die cut from the gorgeous Tartan Paper Pad - I am determined to use up every bit of that it is so beautiful!

The finished cards measure approximately 11.5cm x 13cm - just so you have some idea of scale!

Polka Dot Pals Vera in a Fairy Garden - Whimsy Stamps

Happy Fri-Yay friends!

I hope this week has been kind to you!

Today I have been mixing it up with some new and older
First I cut a piece of Kraft Card 21.5cm x 8.5cm.

I stamped Vera onto the card in brown ink and coloured her with Copics and Primacolor Pencils.
Confession Time - She was supposed to be coloured solely in Copics but I stamped her on the Bazzill Kraft Card by mistake - which is nt good for Copics! /-:  Fortunately I managed to rescue her with my pencils!
(I'll pop a list of the colours I used at the end of this post)

I die cut the frame for the card using the
and fixed it to the outside of the design.

Next I used the
to die cut kraft card and coloured the toad stools in Copics and pencils.  I fixed them together and added the dots with a white gel pen.

I layered the toadstools onto the card design as shown with

I coated the gorgeous die cut fairies in glitter and added them to the design.  I also added some dots of glitter around them to look as if they were blowing fairy dust at Vera!

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the
on to the design as shown.

Dudley's Mailed With Love - Whimsy Stamps

 Happy Saturday everyone!

I hope that despite the strained times we're living in you manage to have a good weekend!

I had such fun making today's card - I have n't done much colouring recently.  My concentration has n't been brilliant since I broke my leg but I really enjoyed colouring Dudley so I think I'm finally getting back to some sort of normality!

I used the fabulous
to make this card.

First I die cut a piece of card suitable for alcohol markers with a

Then I stamped and masked the images working from the front backwards (so - I stamped Dudley first and then masked his nose and the envelope so I could stamp the mail box closer to him!

I used Copic Markers
Dudley - BG75, BG72, BG23, BG11, BG10, YG13, YG01, C3, C1, C00
Mail Box - BG99, BG97, BG95 W8, W4, W1, R37, R35, R05
Envelopes - R37, R05, E41, E40
Grass - G46, G14, YG17, YG13, YG01

I used a Distress Oxide Ink Pad in Tumbled Glass to blend the background around Dudley.  (I did nt mask him, I just 'eyeballed' it! - I have done this a lot and am used to it but you might feel safer masking the image before adding distress inks).

I stamped the sentiment in grey ink and die cut it with a die from the

I then die cut a piece of paper from the
with the largest
and layered the design onto it using

Finally I added some enamel dots.

Whimsy Stamps Build a Fairy Garden (you know you want to)! ...

Happy Fri-Yay friends!

I hope the week has been kind to you!

Today's card is made with a gorgeous new die set from
I must apologise for another photo fail - the light is terrible all day here and trying to get a decent photo is proving difficult (and frustrating)!

First I created an inky piece of card by blending Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral and Barn Door over a piece of Strathmore Bristol Vellum Card.

Then splattered the card with water and Mica Powder.

When everything was dry I die cut the card with the
and then splattered white paint over it.  (I do this after diecutting as white paint leaves a slightly raised texture which I rather like and it gets crushed if you add it before die cutting!

I then repeated this with Distress Oxides in Ground Expresso and Pumice Stone.

I combined the inky pieces to create the toadstools and used the paler pieces for those oh too cute fairies!

I then blended Distress Oxide in Speckled Egg over a piece of Strathmore Bristol Vellum Card to create the background and splashed water on it.

Next I created a 13cm x 13cm square of white card and used the the 8.5cm
to cut an aperture in the centre of it.

I stamped the make a wish sentiment from the
onto the card front.

I layered the white card onto the blue background with
and assembled the rest of the card as shown, finally adding some glitter glue and some
as a bit of fairy sparkle!
