Black is my happy colour!...

Hello everyone!

Hope it's a happy Fri-yay for you all!

I'm here today with a card made with August new release goodies from 

Whimsy Stamps!

Goth Girl Clear Stamps - Amped2Stamp

Goth Skulls Background Rubber Cling Stamp

This super image is stamped in black ink and coloured with Caran d'ache Pablos pencils.

The background is blended Distress Ink in Weathered Wood using a cloud template cut with a cloud from the 

Up In The Clouds

die set.

The image has been cut out with the

Notched Square Die Set

To make the background I stamped the 

Goth Skulls Background Rubber Cling Stamp

in a mixture of Distress Inks -

Wilted Violet and Weathered Wood 

and die cut it with the 

Notched Square Die Set

Finally I stamped a sentiment from the 

Goth Girl Clear Stamps

and die cut it with a 

Quick Strips Die Set

The card was assembled as shown!

Happy Memories...

Hello everyone, 

I hope the week is being kind to you.

While you are reading this I am enjoying our summer holiday! (It's whooshing by too quickly though)!

I have another of wonderful

Whimsy Stamps

new releases to show you today!

DoveArt Farm Tractor Rubber Cling Stamp

I stamped this beautiful image with black ink onto Bockingford Watercolour Card and coloured it with pencils.

(A mixture of Caran d'Ache Luminance and Faber Castell Polychromos)

I die cut the largest cloud from the 

Up In The Clouds Die Set

and used it as a template to blend 

Tumbled Glass Distress Ink

over the background

Then I die cut the image and a piece of patterned paper with

Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle Dies 

I tore a strip of vellum and with black StazOn ink stamped the sentiment onto it using the gorgeous sentiments from 

You're My Jolly Clear Stamps (Amped2Stamp)

I wrapped the vellum around the image securing it at the back with tape and then layered the image on to the patterned paper and a card blank.

I love this image, I think the card main possibilities with it are endless and it suits so many special occasions!

Whimsy Stamps New Release - Mountain Cabin

Hello everyone,

I can.not.believe it is the 1^stAugust already!

The months and years are definitely speeding up!

Mind you, the beginning of each month is always exciting for me because it is the start of days of 

Whimsy Stamps

new release gorgeousness!

Today I’m going to show you a beautiful stamp by Jennifer Dove for 

Whimsy Stamps

Mountain Cabin Rubber Cling Stamp

To make this card I used black ink to stamp the 

Mountain Cabin Rubber Cling Stamp

image onto Bockingford Watercolour card.

I then coloured it with Caran d’Ache Pablos pencils

I cut the image out into a rectangle and using Stazon Ink I stamped the Always sentiment directly over the image and then added ‘on my mind’ in the bottom right hand corner.

These sentiments are from the beautiful

You’re my Always Sentiment Set

by our lovely Deb Davis (Amped2Stamp)

 Adding a twine bow, I layered the image onto a piece of patterned paper.

I absolutely adore this gorgeous image, it is so useful for so many occasions!  I hope to find time soon to colour it as a snowy scene and use it as a Christmas card!
