Imagine...

Good morning lovely friends...

This weeks challenge at
is anything goes plus the option of a sketch.
All the details can be found

The prize this time is two digi's of the winners choice from
All Dressed Up

For my card I have used the beautiful All Dressed Up Stamp -
Flower Fairy

Now, I would normally avoid the colour yellow at all costs, but I was very taken with this  yellow Copic colour combination which popped up on Pinterest, quaintly called 'buttercup'!

I coloured this gorgeous image with copics and added some sparkle to her wings with Stickles.

For the background I tried something new - a technique from a Copic Tutorial by wonderful Faye from stampinfluffnstuff - the technique is called a smooshy background, I enjoyed it and will definitely try it again.

I mounted the card on papers from  Craftwork Cards and created a die cut frame.  For embellishments I added some pink bakers twine, some clear gems and a simple sentiment.

...and here we are, a sweet flower fairy...
I would like to enter this card for the following challenges -

  10. I usually steer well clear of yellow but it suits this beautiful fairy perfectly; teaming it with the pastel blue makes this card so lovely and fresh. The smooshy background is gorgeous...I can only imagine the mess I would get in trying to do this!
    Big hugs, Kat xx
