Hello again everyone.
and it is
B for Bauble
(remember this is a Christmas Challenge and we love to see your festive creations)!
This challenge is sponsored by
and the prize for the lucky winner is
7 Bugaboo digi's of their choice.
To make my Bauble inspired card I chose the gorgeous Bugaboo digi
Ava Christmas - Mistletoe Fairy
I coloured her with Copics and added some glamour dust to her wings.
Just a little side story...
When I went to the NEC in November I treated myself to a Cameo Portrait. I duly unpacked it and I have looked at it in awe and wonder (and fear) ever since! (I am hopeless with anything with a plug, my boys have to operate the DVD for me)!
This weekend I decided to read the instructions (ha! - who am I kidding, I looked on U Tube and went to Silhouette School - which is a fabulous by the way)!
With the help of some online instruction, I learned how to print and cut - so lovely Ava was my first attempt and I am really happy with how she came out.
I also cut the bauble shape out with the Cameo - new favourite gadget this week!
so...here we are, with enormous thanks to modern technology -
Ava Christmas - Mistletoe Fairy

Gorgeous bauble its a lovely stamp so pretty love and hugs Carole x
ReplyDeleteA fabulous bauble shape and your image is so sweet and beautifully coloured. I've had a Silhouette for a few years now and definitely don't use it to it's potential, I really should take some time and do what you did and get some instruction on how to use all the features. A fab job with your print and cut image too.

Wow.... well done you on your Cameo Conquering!! What a fab job it's made... no need for me to talk you into fussy cutting any more with that at your fingertips! I'm loving this fabulous tag btw.. lovely strong colours on that cute little image - and the balance of placement with the sentiment is perfect - I'm wondering did you use your Misti for the placement?? They are such WONDERFUL tools... I'm loving using mine!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry I've not been around much commenting....... but you know the reasons... and I have been watching your creations and commenting on FB if nowhere else!
Big hugs

Gorgeous bauble Sue and I love that you did the print and cut on the Cameo, I have one and never tried to do that, I might have to give it a go too! I am the same, anything with plugs is a job for someone else lol

Wow fabulous, I thought you'd fussy cut her at first. Congrats on your Silhouette though. I've been looking but have resisted so far as I have too much stuff and not enough space (did I really just say 'too much stuff'? Must go and wash my mouth out!) Fab card Sue. Love the shape too.

I just knew I was going to be tempted once you got going with that Cameo! The bauble shape makes a great card base and having Ava cut out adds a wonderful dimension to your card. I love all the sparkle and shine too :-)
