Good morning everyone,
Happy Thursday!
I'm here today with some flowery gorgeousness!
I could almost be thinking of spring if were n't so cold, wet and windy outside today!
So...here are some pretty flowers to cheer us all up!
This card is one of a set of three I made last year for Making Cards magazine.
I loved making these cards.
The flowers are stamped and heat embossed in white on vellum and the vellum is coloured from behind with Copic markers. Such a pretty effect I think! Mind you, coupled with a shaker card, it is almost toooo cute!
You don't need too many Copic Markers to colour on vellum as you need to work quickly because the alcohol ink dries really quickly! So if you are giving this technique a go use no more than two blending colours and be speedy! (Remember to colour on the back of the vellum)!
