Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...

Good Morning lovely friends
Oh my - what a glorious spell of weather we are having here at the moment - scorching!

We have a new challenge starting today at
and it is
O is for Overlay

Our wonderful sponsor this time is
and the prize for the lucky winner is two digi's of their choice.

I think the heat got to me making this card - I adore the image, I used

The overlay aspect was a bit taxing - plus it is soooooo hot the vellum kept curling up like those funny red fish we used to get in Christmas crackers years ago!

I coloured this gorgeous image with copics and printed the image on a piece of vellum which I 'laid over' (overlay)! the top.

Finally I added a cute sentiment (Which kept smudging)! and a little star charm.

Anyways, I got there in the end!

  14. Your overlay of vellum is a super idea and looks lovely...even if it was a bit tricksy to work with...what's with this hot weather anyway, eh?! Anyone would think it was Summer ;-)
Your colouring is gorgeous and I like the way you get a softer, more muted effect with the vellum over the top but can still lift it to see the original underneath in all it's glory!
Adding the star charm over the top on twine is such a cute touch too :-)
    Big hugs, Kat xx
