I tried something completely different for this card (still sticking to that important pink theme though)!
A while ago I treated myself to a Copic Air System...This week, I decided I had looked at it in the box for long enough and unpacked it to have a play.
Well, after going through quite a few sheets of card, several markers, and lots of cups of tea - the background to this card was the result.
More practice needed for certain but what fun!
I used the new MFT Stamp and Die Set 'Harvest Mice' to make this card - fantabulous and cute! So many different card options I may just go mad.
I coloured this sweetie with Copics and had another go at the stippled fur technique, which still is n't quite right but may be slowly getting there...(I strongly suspect I am too impatient and not letting the ink layers dry before I start with the blender pen)!
The paper for the frame is by Doodlebug Designs and is cut out with an MFT Stitched Frame Die.
Finally I added the little die cut heart and a sentiment from the Harvest Mice stamp set.
...and here we are,
if friends were flowers, I'd pick you...
