Good Morning...
Wow... where did the summer go!
It does n't seem like two minutes sine we had our last challenge at Creative Inspirations, and after our summer break here we back again with our new one!
This week's challenge at Creative Inspirations is anything goes with the option of a sketch, all the details you need can be found
This challenge is sponsored by
and the prize for the very lucky winner is a $20 to spend in their wonderful online store.
My DT card this week is made with The paper Shelter's gorgeous digi stamp,
I coloured this fab image with Copics and used some Stickles to add some snowy glitter.
I did try a new technique to colur Rudolph but LOTS more practice is needed - i think he is a bit spotty!

To make my card I used some papers I've had a while from a
Forever Friends Kraft Notes designstax.
I die cut some stars and added them at different depths to try and create a 3D effect.

Looks like Rudolph has been on the mulled wine!! What a great card Sue, the fur effect looks fabulous, in my humble opinion and a great all round fun image. The papers make for a perfect background. Still raining here :0( Hoping it will brighten up for tomorrow as a friend and I are off to a show...fingers crossed!! xx

Well you remember I have a weakness for Santas? THIS ONE I think I'll have to have as I do love what you did with him.... (not literally!) And Rudolph looks good to me... whoever saw a reindeer with a smooth coloured coat! Loving the DP's you used, and the fabulous stars scattered around!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs

This fun image deserves a fun and bold layout and that's just what you've achieved; I love the colour combo, all the die cut stars and that absolutely gorgeous sparkle :-)
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I love the 'dotty' technique for adding texture to fur so I think Rudolph looks totally brilliant and strokeable!
Big hugs, Kat xx
