This week's challenge at Creative Inspirations is
a trio of...!
This week's prize is a £10 gift voucher from
Crafts U Love
My DT card for this week's challenge is made with a gorgeous Tiddly Inks digital image - 'Baby Dragon Queen'.
As soon as I saw this image with that cute little dragon blowing three heart shaped smoke rings I just knew it was a perfect choice for a card involving a trio!
I printed the image direct to the card and coloured it with copic markers. I also used a couple of Prismacolor pencils to put finishing touches to this beautiful Dragon Queen's hair.
I confess I went a bit 'glitter bonkers' but I thought, being a Queen, she deserved it. Every girl should have some sparkle and shine!
Finally, I added some twine and a wooden button from The Ribbon Girl along with three shimmer domes (magic orbs)! and three little silver hearts from my trinket box.
Here we are - Baby Dragon Queen - surely that dragon must be the cutest companion you ever did see!
I would like to enter this card for the following challenges -
Tiddly Inks - Anything Goes
As You Like It - Lines or No Lines - Lines for me, every time;
My opinion only of course but lines make the image stand out
and better suit 'light touch' colouring.
