Some bunny loves you...xxx

Happy Monday lovely friends, hope you have a lovely Bank Holiday!

I'm here today with some cute bunny love!
This gorgeous image Woodland Bunny is by Lee Holland for Whimsy Stamps.

I decided to take the plunge and colour him/her Copic 'no lines' technique!  I'm not confident with critters at the best of times so yes, this was a challenge but I am really happy with how he/she turned out!

The gorgeous papers and embellishments are from the wonderful store -

...and here we are, a super cute Woodland Bunny...

Sparkle and shine with Copic Glitter Pens...

Hello everyone!

I'm here today to tell you something about Copic Glitter Pens and show you an image that they help to colour beautifully!

If you love sparkly shiny things then these gorgeous pens are just for you!
Copic Glitter Pens are available in 24 colours which are sold in two sets of 12 pens.

The pigment-based archival ink is transparent and can be used over other pens and the beautiful subtle glittery effect is produced by micro glass flakes which really reflect the light.

The important thing to remember about Copic Glitter Pens is that they must be stored lying down otherwise the teeny tiny glass flakes will sink to one end of the pen and clog the nib. This is different of course to Copic Markers which can be stored anyway up.

I absolutely love these pens.  The nib is really fine which makes them perfect for colouring the tiny details some images have.

I have put together a tutorial where I have used the glitter pens to colour a lovely image by Stamping Bella - Giftabella.
I stamped the image on Make it Colour Blending Card with black Memento Ink and selected my Copic colours.  You can see that Giftabella has an armful of presents with some fine details which are perfect for colouring with Copic Spica.
I coloured the image with Copics and left the tiny details until the end to colour with Copic Glitter Pens.  I chose five glitter pens to go with the Copics I have used - Lipstick, Turquoise, Orange, Pink and Clear.  (The clear pen is my favourite because you can use it over the top of any colour).
I carefully coloured the fine details of the image with a Copic Glitter Pen.
...and I coloured over some of the Copic colours with the clear Spica pen.
This is the image when I had finished colouring it and adding the lovely glittery details with the Copic pens.

I had great fun making this card and here is the finished design.
and this picture shows how sparkly the Copic Spica Pens are and just how they can make an image shimmer and shine!
I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.  It would be great if you could try this technique and show your cards to us at Copic Marker Europe on Facebook.

Chrysanthemum Collage...

Happy Sunday lovely friends...
I'm whizzing by today with a gorgeous card made with a beautiful Memory Box die from

This card is one of a set I made for our Tracy for Die Cutting Essentials magazine.

The card design is something a bit different for me and I really loved making it!

Here is a little tutorial for you which describes how I made the blended background and put the card design together.

 1. Create a 14.5cm x 17cm card blank with the fold at the side.  Create a panel of purple card the same size, fix it to the card blank and set aside.  Cut a strip of polka dot card 2.cm x 16cm, and a piece of white hammer card measuring 12cm x 16cm, set aside

2. On a piece of white card measuring 10cm x 14cm blend the Tim Holtz Distress Inks in an ombre effect light to dark, Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves. Set aside.

3. With the Chrysanthemum Collage die cut the panel of white hammer card set aside earlier.  Fix this card panel on top of the ombre effect card.  Using Onyx Black ink stamp the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner of this panel as shown.  Set aside.

4. Fix the strip of polka dot card and the card design to the front of the card blank set aside earlier as shown.
